Team Cancellation and Refund Policy
There are no individual refunds. Participants are encouraged to try to find another rider.
Information for teams seeking riders or riders seeking teams is available by emailing the relay at "kcibr.info at gmail dot com".
Cancellation - Team Refunds
Before May 24
- Full Refund
May 25 - June 6
- Refund 50% of registration fee. No refund of change fees.
After June 6
- No refund.
Refunds will be made through the Eventsonline website and credited to your credit card. Please allow a few days for processing.
In certain cases, for compassionate reasons, the board will consider refunds after these deadlines. Please contact us at "kcibr.info at gmail dot com".
Changes to your team
Prior to June 16th, you can make as many changes to registration (riders, rider order, meals, tshirt selection, etc) as you need to for a cost of $10.00 per batch of changes (ie each time you use the form at Eventsonline). If you are changing to a larger team, you will incur an upgrade fee. We can't guarantee that requested tshirt sizes will be available for changes.
Team captains are responsible for ensuring that all riders have completed and signed waivers. Team captains must bring the complete set of signed waivers to package pickup.
Go to the Eventsonline website to make online changes to registration before June 16th.
After June 16th, you can email changes to "kcibr.info at gmail dot com" and pay for them at package pickup. The changes can also be brought to package pickup. The cost for any and all changes at this time is $20.00.
Teams Changing Categories
Teams changing categories will not be given a refund if they move to a cheaper category.
For example:
- An 8-person team switches to a 4-person team. NO refund will be given.
- An 8-person team may switch to two 4-person teams without penalty.
- A 4-person team upgrading to an 8-person team will owe the remainder of the fees.
Moving up to a larger category means paying the additional fees necessary for the larger category.
