Encourage participants to bring their own dishes for their dinner and reduce the need for disposable dishes - most participants are camping and will have dishes anyways.

Dish washing

It would encourage people even more if they knew there was a basin or bucket or something full of clean water so they can rinse their dishes easily.  Then those staying in a hotel don't have to find a way to do their dishes, and those camping don't have to set up the cook stove to wash them until the morning.

Recycling or composting the disposable dishes is good, but they are still a single use item requiring lots of energy and resources both to create them and then to deal with them afterwards.

Could you please encourage people even more to bring their own dishes, it really is a simple step everyone can do?

I would totally bring my own dishes AND I will make my team (of 8) bring their own too!  Perhaps add an extra cookie to the pot :)
