NEW! Optional Early Captain's Meeting for Whitehorse-Based Teams
To relieve the congestion on Friday night in Haines Junction, we are offering an alternate Captain's Meeting and Race Package Pick-Up for Whitehorse-area teams. The intention is to reduce the load of stuff we normally haul to Haines Junction and to reduce congestion on Friday night. It will also help to make a greener event by reducing fuel consumption caused by team captains driving to Haines Junction for Friday evening and then returning to Whitehorse and then driving out again for Race Day. You can make changes (see notes under June 17 below) and you must hand in complete sets of signed waivers to pick up your race package.
Race Package Pick-up is from 6:00-8:00 PM in the Whitehorse Cross Country Ski Club Wax Room and the Captain's Meeting is from 8:00-8:30 PM upstairs in the Whitehorse Curling Club lounge. Only one person per team to attend the meeting, please. Let us know how it works this year.
